Amino Acids


 Did you know that all kinds of physiological processes connected to sport activities, mood swings, fat losses, strength gains and brain functions are critically linked to amino acids? That is the reason why it has become one of the athletes’ chief source of supplementation, especially among bodybuilders.

Defined in chemistry as a molecule that comprises both groups of amine and carboxylic, amino acids are the building block of protein and muscle tissue. 

Out of the 23 or more amino acids, nine are termed as indispensable which are sometimes called “essential” meaning they must be provided from food sources. The rest are basically classified as dispensable albeit, depending on the body’s capability to manufacture them from the others.

It may not be of major importance you chew on a chicken breast or lintel stew, but the contents and balance of the amino acids specifically the ratio of IAA to DAA, identifies the health structural value of a protein food. Consuming quality stuff is the most ordinary manner to obtain it into the diet particularly lean meats and non- fat dairies. Vegetable and legumes even offer greater amounts.

Actually, over a hundred of amino acids have been discovered. Some have been seen in meteorites in a type known as carbonaceous chondrites. Plants and organisms are also identified to produce some but it is not common though. It can be detected in peptidic antibiotics like nisin or alamethicin. There is a sulfide- bridged alanin dimer called lanthionine that is established together with the unsaturated ones in latibiotics, they are those antibiotic peptides of microbial origin.
